I grew up with animals always being part of my family. I am a huge animal lover, I’d rather spend my time with animals than people. I find their unconditional love is priceless. Growing up I always had various animals in my home, I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and I have fostered kittens. In college I wrote my Masters Thesis on Animal Assisted Therapy. I have experience working with puppies, kittens, senior cats and dogs, administering medications, and IV hydration. I have also cared for, hamsters, guinea pigs, turtles, birds and lizards. I am retired from working with children after 30 years Which allows for my schedule to be flexible. I am available for your last minute needs, or extended vacation plans. I am responsible, trustworthy, nurturing and dependable. I care for all animals with compassion, love and understanding. I am aware all animals needs are different, some may be slow to warm up while others may be overly excited filled with energy. I approach my relationship with animals with respect and caution. My goal is to make their experience with me feel safe, fun and loving.
