Must love dogs!

Pet care experience

Hello, Due to the CoVid 19, I will be suspending all services until further notice. I live with a high risk 89 year old and I can not have anyone entering my home, thank you! I have many years of experience as a dog boarder, walker, and animal care taker. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with multiple cats, dogs, bunnies, and I even have a pot bellied pig running around in a sectioned off area of my backyard. I board one dog at a time to give it the attention it deserves. I presently have 2 small rescue dogs Kiki ( 12lbs) and Wiley ( 7lbs), and my sister’s little dog Bambi ( 9lbs) comes to stay sometimes. I prefer small dogs to keep the playing field even, and my place is set up for dogs on the smaller side with a doggy door where they can access the enclosed side yard. Your dog would have full roam of the house, and dogs are allowed on all of my furniture; very doggy friendly home. That’s why we can never have nice things 🤣,. My dogs love other dogs. They all tend to follow each other from room to room, and are calm. They are spayed, neutered and vaccinated. One is a senior, Kiki, 14-16 years old and she is an Affenpinscher rescue with 1 eye, she was attacked by a bigger dog before I rescued her, but I love her SO much! She’s very chill and loves to just lounge on dog beds all day. I have a mixed Pomeranian with Yorkie, Wiley, 3 yrs old, and he likes to greet a new dog but then he minds his own business, usually making his way over to his spot on the couch, and is also super mellow. I love going for walks with the dogs and spending quality time like playing with their toys, and petting them. I would give lots of love to your fur babies as I do my own :) I guarantee two walks a day when your dog is boarded with me overnight. These walks are at least 15 min long. I find that walks are a key to a dog’s heart I take one of my little ones, and your dog out at a time, win, win for me. I am a treat giver. I have lots of small training treats, but I would follow your directions on treats. I also would give your dog anything extra you would like to provide for them. I have potty pads galore, and I tend to keep them out, just in case. Accidents happen. Your dog will be provided with plenty of outdoor access but I do understand the potty pad situation, especially with little dogs. I can give medication as needed. Please feel free to let me know. But I will only give medication for a dog, with something not contagious as I don’t want to make my dogs or other dogs sick. I don’t need a compromised house. I love sending updates usually with lots of photos of the day’s events. I love trying to get those perfect walk photos lol! I want to make you feel more at ease while you are away. I like to send two updates a late morning update and an evening update after their last walk and some lounge time around the house. I also am available for any other requested updates or questions on your pup! I like to get the photos together twice a day though. You can text me anytime, since your dog is spending the night somewhere, that’s a bit nerve racking! I love walking dogs as well. I am Looking to do more of that. I am open on size on dog walks as long as the big dog doesn’t pull super hard. I love drop in visits. I will feed your pet take in your mail, play with your pet, or whatever it is you need. A little bit extra about me. I just finished my nursing school prerequisites, took the TEAS exam, and am waiting to see if I get in to a nursing program in the fall of 2020, fingers crossed. I don’t have any children in the house. I do take care of my grandfather, which does keep me home for breakfast, lunch and dinner, meds etc. I might run a few errands. He really enjoys dogs. He sits on the couch, or sorts his mail, he loves his mail, lol! He’s here all day. Dogs really like him. He likes to toss tennis balls and pet the cuties Warmly, Sabrina

Information Sabrina E. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know any special needs your dog might have, medications, special care instructions, food requests, and any thing you would like me to know in order to give them the best stay possible! I just would like your dog to not be aggressive. I only board one dog at a time with my own. If your dog is fearful that is ok. I can work with that! Just not aggressive :). My dogs bark at new people coming to the door, so I am used to that. I am not worried about other issues. I have plenty of pee pee pads for accidents, which even in house broken dogs, can sometimes happen on new territory. It doesn’t upset me at all. I leave them down always, just FYI. Also at the moment I frequently do daycare for a 3.5 lb Pomeranian, so don’t be surprised if he is here. Your dog must be nice. If you know your dog has a communicable disease I prefer not to watch it because I need to keep my dogs healthy for the sake of every dog’s health in my care. Also, your hours, please let me know your hours before I accept the daycare/ boarding. Please no pick ups past 10 pm. I like to be in bed. If you pick up late, that will be $5 extra. Dog boarding each night is for 36 hrs, anything over will be charged a $5 fee. I have had 38 hr dog boarding and that isn’t fair to me.

A typical day

I live in a beautiful upscale neighborhood, that the pups really enjoy on their walks., with lots of smells and scenery. My home has 3 bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. It is small compared to the very large homes on my street as it is one of the original homes. My grandfather has been here most of his adult life. So not a mansion like every other completely rebuilt home on my street. Dogs have full access to 2 bedrooms (grandpa’s room is just his room), the living room, kitchen and side yard which has a brick patio with a grass dog run. I understand that animals experience separation anxiety, so I will do my best to ease that while you are away. I like to play ball, tug of war, love toys, brush hair, gives lots of pets/cuddling to make them feel loved. If I am boarding your dog and their feet get muddy I will prob wash them with oatmeal shampoo. I can feed your dog separately and I will go as far as feeding them out of my hand. I want them to eat their food! Dogs are also welcome to the kibbles and water I leave out. I get Wild Earth dog food, as seen on Shark Tank, haha! My dog food will be laid out all day as my dogs nibble throughout the day. If this is a problem, I apologize but it’s house my home is run.
