Pet care experience
I have always been an animal lover. I am prepping to go to school for a career in rescue, rehabilitation, and release of wild animals and am soon to join my college program for Veterinary Nursing so I have more medical training under my belt. I once rescued a Rottweiler named Oso who was horrifically abused before me. After less than a year, I helped her go from hell-hound to giant, loving, baby. So I have some experience with aggressive dogs and remain calm when I must handle them. I have also had rats as pets, they're great and I always enjoyed having them except for their short lifespan. It broke my heart every time. Since Oso passed away, I have rescued a cat named Gomez and he is my whole world. His past owners locked him in a closet for months so he was not in great shape when I brought him home either. That being said, he is the most loving and adorable fluff ball I've ever met in my life. I also have two tarantulas named Phobia and Medusa. They're highly interesting creatures that both require specialized care and I love every moment of it. So yeah, I would say animals are everything to me in this floating orb in space 💕

Awwww Sabrina! I can't believe how relaxed and at ease you made me on my trip. I'm so hesitant to leave my babies alone at any time. You were the best! If anyone seeking fur baby daycare, I highly recommend you reach out to this star sitter right here. She was unaware that my Furbo captured her every visit and my kids loved her so much. She kept in constant contact during her drop in visits and we even communicated on numerous occasions when she wasn't at my home. If I could give here more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. Sabrina is an awesome pet handler. She has great patience with animals of all kinds. At the present she owns a rescued cat and 3 tarantulas and lives in the house with 2 other dogs. Her greatest accomplishment was bringing a rescued 62 pound Rottweiler, who was very abused back to a 120 pound Rottweiler and cherished family member. Sabrina will soon go back to school to be become a Veterinary Nurse and hopes to get to work with zoo animals. She would definitely be an asset to your company as well as she is very dependable.

I am a very patient person and have no problem spending 20 minutes trying to calm down a dog or crate them so they can feel safe in their environment with me in it. I am also great with cats, along with dogs, as I study psychology for both and try to understand their behaviors more than just wanting them to be punished for "acting out". There's usually always a good reason in their mind for their behaviors.

Important things include their behaviour, certain ticks that may set them off, are they dog friendly? Stranger friendly? Have they had a stranger walk/check on them before? Do they need any kind of medications administered? Are they leash trained?
A typical day
I enjoy going on walks with animals so they can see the world outside of their own house. I always find it relaxing to go on walks myself so when I'm with another companion, I enjoy it even more! We can play tug-o-war, fetch (if allowed), and have fun running through the neighborhood (leashed, of course).

Availability
I'm currently laid off from my job as a Biology laboratory assistant so I would like to go ahead and try to get my foot in the pet care business while I have the chance. Making some extra side money allows me to keep a certain amount of money back so if anything happens with Gomez, I have something to fall back on for his care.
