Hi, my name is Sabrina and I can't wait to pet your dog. I founded of SAFARI while I was in college (Students Advocating for Animal Rights Intelligently) at Miami University because of my love for companion animals and wildlife. Since, I have been on the board of an animal shelter and worked full-time as a development coordinator at a no-kill shelter in Dayton. I am currently working to open Dayton's first cat cafe. I have fostered dogs of all walks of life for over 10 years (through many different rescues) and am certified in pet CPR. I have learned through all of my pet ventures, that every dog is different. I have basic and some advanced levels of dog behavior training from my time working in and with shelters to adjust to your dog's needs. I believe in positive reinforcement methods. I have fostered every size and type of dog (pregnant dogs, puppies, large dogs, older dogs, deaf and blind dogs, dogs that required medications, dogs with severe anxiety, dogs with severe dog aggression). I LOVE dogs (and cats) and can't wait to give that love to your four-legged friend! -I am currently opening up a business which is in construction phase. This gives me a VERY flexible schedule for which to spend with your dog. -I am available 7 days-a- week. -I would like to maintain your dog's current restroom/walk/feeding schedule so that having you away is not a stressful experience for them. -I own a 12 lb mixed breed guy that will be hanging out as well. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. He won't come visit at your house, but will be present at mine. -Want to chat while you're gone? I'm only a call or text away. I can even facilitate video chats with your dog.

As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to work with Sabrina while she was employed at SICSA pet adoption center. There were many opportunities and events we worked where we would take adoptable animals (cats and dogs.) Sabrina was always aware of the animal and whether it was uncomfortable, happy, ready to retire from the event, etc. She is very concerned for the well being and care of ALL animals. Her passion for animals is evident by the work she does even if it is not completely hands on...at SICSA she was in charge of events that would raise funds for the center. She made the events great, was a true leader, and did not let negativity get in her way. Her goal was to help the animals and she did and still does a fantastic job doing just that.
Sabrina is one of the most dedicated animal lovers I've ever met. She cares not only for her own dear pets, but for any pets she meets. She has a kind heart and will care for your pets as if they were her own. I'd trust her with my pets and know she'd take wonderful care of them! They would probably even end up liking her more than me. :)
Sabrina is the best. She has been caring and reliable not only for her own dog, but for countless dogs in the Dayton area. She's served as a volunteer and raised funds and awareness for homeless animals. I absolutely trust her with my animals as someone who is not only kind, but very knowledgeable.

A typical day
We will go on walks wherever your dog is comfortable. For dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs, we can walk in metro-parks, and other larger dog-friendly areas in Dayton (whatever is closest to your home). For dogs who prefer to not engage with other dogs, we will walk in your neighborhood or other less dog populated areas. I am an avid facilitator of fetch, tug and pull, and chase me around the yard as well.
