I am a semi-retired mental health therapist. Daisy and Frankie go to work with me as my pet-partners to help soothe the distressed. They help me stay in touch with the "real" world of sounds, smells, and the joy of walking, good friends and yummy meals! I've used Rover.com for when I go on vacation and can't take the pups and think it is a great deal. I thought offering the service to others in my home could also be fun. Daisy, Frankie and I love guests two legged and four. I have a fenced yard with a dog-door for coming and going freely...I work part-time so no one is left for long. We're a safe, comfortable and friendly place. I have always had dogs in my life..I am 72 and my first dog, Lucky, a fox terrier, came home when I was 6 years old....that is a lot of dogs! I work part-time from home so my schedule is quite open. I take frequent breaks and walks through out the day. And that dog door and large yard is always available. Hi include them in our family. It takes a while for a dog to adjust to a new environment and I try to give a special attention during this transition. I make sure that all the dogs needs are being met for exercise, good food, and affection.
