Dedicated to keeping pets happy!

Pet care experience

I am naturally good with animals and have a knack for understanding their body language. I grew up in a loving family, helping to provide care for a menagerie of both large and small animals, from dogs, cats, and rats, to horses, goats, and chickens and many more in between. I have extensive knowledge of animals and extensive experience caring for them, from my own animals, to shadowing vets, to earning my C1 rating in USPC, to proving care for other people's furry family members. I know the traits of numerous dog breeds, and have experience with GSDs, Border Collies, Dachshunds, American Eskimo, MinPins, and the beloved mixed breed, the Mutt. I am patient and consistent, with a gentle, confident approach that animals respond to positively. Before pouring on the affection, I allow them space to adjust and build trust. I'm responsible, dedicated, and trustworthy; knowledgeable about basic first aid, nutrition, and coat care; and strive to provide exceptional animal care and top-notch communication with all my clients. I love spending time with animals and find it all very rewarding.

Ryn has been very patient and understanding with both of my dogs that haven’t been socialized with many strangers. She is quick to respond and reliable.

Safety, trust & environment

The safety of your pets and the care of your home is of utmost importance to me, as is the comfort and happiness of your pets. Under my care, your pet will be kept safe under all circumstances, including in hot weather, during thunder or holiday fireworks, and in the presence of poisonous foods or plants. I will have "eyes-on" your pet and can recognize when an animal is showing signs of not feeling well. In case of a minor injury, I can provide basic first aid, or provide interim care if your pet needs to be seen by a veterinarian. My conduct in your home and with your pets will always be professional. I will follow all rules: No pets on the couch, no problem; Sassy doesn't like her ears touched, I’ll be careful not to; don't use the side entrance, not an issue. My focus is to help you by following your directions to the tee while maintaining your pets schedule and well-being in the way you want while you are away. I will clean up after myself and after your pets, and upon your request, I can water your plants and feed your fish. I am honest, dependable, and trustworthy, and at all times will be respectful of you, your privacy, your pets, your home, and your belongings.

Information Ryn R. would like to know about your pet

It is important for me to know about your pet's temperament, activity level, dietary needs/restrictions, medications, and any medical issues. I also want to know your pet's likes and dislikes, about the things they are quirky about and their favorite toys/foods. I will warm up her food if that's how she likes it and not wear a hat if that scares him. My priority is to keep your pets comfortable and provide you with peace of mind that they are well while you're away.

A typical day

My job is to keep your pets healthy and happy while you are away. Depending upon the animal and the service, I might feed, give fresh water, give medicine, provide exercise, go on dog walks, groom, and enjoy companionship and cuddle time. I will always listen to your pet. Asking for attention means they will get attention. On walks dogs are allowed to sniff to their hearts content and I will throw the ball for hours.
