I’ve owned pets since I was 6 years old! We started with our Bullmastiff puppy Sadie, I would walk her solo around the neighborhood at 8 y/o. We have adopted dogs as a family ever since! Chester our Carin Terrior at age 3! Milo our Jack Russell at 8! Dayma our Southern Belle from Alabama rescued from a puppy mill at age 4-5; our little hero! And as of last year Miss Maggie! Yes that’s Miss! Maggie! In writing! She is our silly human-like Pointer-poodle! German wired hair pointer, poodle mix! Needless to say I have had experiences with all types of dogs caring for them and getting to know them for the first time in different stages/ages of their lives! I’ve also owned birds, hamsters, fish and newts growing up, as many kids do! In 2020 I moved to a small hobby farm called Serenity Rising where we lived amongst 6 cats, one who had kittens making that 14 cats! There were two Great Pyrenees who stayed by our sides and were the protector of the farm and Guinness the Bassethound who was our little buddy! Amongst the cats and dogs in the house we even brought the chickens and goats into the house for a visit! The farm owner had rescued 10 horses, 3 massive hogs, a llama named Arthur who gave kisses, a Black Angus Mama and her calf, tons of goats, a male goat named William who loved to buck you with his horns if we could! A shy donkey, two beautiful white ducks who were raised in someone’s backyard pool until they were too big to continue living there; we heard stories of how the ducks rules the house and backyard parties! And lastly 25 chickens and a dapper Rooster that ran the flock! Living on the farm I was blessed to be surrounded by so many animals from morning to night. While there, her animals had litters and calves and babies of sorts! It was a blessing watching all of the animals co exist amongst one another and the pure love and joy everything brought to us all! Allow me to love your little family member in the moments you’re away earning money for their favourite treats and toys! Unfortunately my lifestyle at the moment doesn’t allow for me to have my own little furry important family member, this is why Rover is the perfect energy exchange for the time being!
