Hi, my name is Rylee, it's nice to meet you! I have 2 years of professional experience in dog care with a Michigan-based non-profit, Leader Dogs for the Blind, where I served as a dog care attendant assisting a pod of up to 32 dogs with both daily basic care needs (feeding, bathing, toileting, grooming, nail care) as well as medication administration, social enrichment with organized play groups and integrated positive reinforcement behavioral training. Additionally I also have 12 years experience caring for my own personal dogs, with personal experience in grooming and nail care. Since moving to Chicago, I've really missed the sense of joy and accomplishment I get from developing relationships with dogs. Animals hold such a special place in my heart and for me, seeing their furry faces makes life worth living. I know what it can be like to worry about a loved one, which is why I make sure to send lots of photo and video updates throughout the day. I especially pride myself on working with dogs with anxiety. At LDFTB this was a common occurrence and I have acquired several tips and tricks to make their time away from you as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.
