In my 4 years of experience, I have shadowed at a vet clinic, worked for a mobile vet clinic and another vet clinic, volunteered at many rescues/shelters, including a wildlife rehabilitation center. I have had many animals of my own over the years and this gave me the motivation to want to go to school to be a vet. Unfortunately, at the time, vet school is not an option for me so I am pursuing a degree in another field. Luckily for pet owners, I have been trained to do most things a veterinary technician can do, so I am more than able to watch pets and care for them. This job gives me the chance to be around pets while living in a college dorm, away from my own pets!
