Pet care experience
Growing up, I've always loved dogs. I grew up with two Newfoundlands and a Leonberger and now I have an Australian Shepherd and Border Collie! I enjoy running and hiking with both and take great care of them: brushing, teeth brushing, home cooked food, bathing, belly rubs, mental stimulation and more! They're not just dogs, they're family! I also have experience with potty training and leash training and spent time fostering a blind/deaf Aussie and taught her both before rehoming her!

Ryland loves his pups, Clem and Chai. He takes them running with him regularly, makes their meals from scratch, and makes sure that the pups are living their most fulfilled and happy lives. He has fostering experience, and experience also with blind/deaf dogs. As an active person himself, he looks forward to spending time with animals outdoors.

Please let me know if your dog gets along with other dogs, how much exercise they want/need, any food allergies, resource or food guarding, any quirks they may have, as well as any triggers that would make your dog feel scared or fearful. The more info, the better!
A typical day
I live a block away from a local park with plenty of space to walk around and do laps if needed. I can also run a mile or two with your dog at the park if this is something they would be interested in. We can explore the neighborhood, go on hikes at Griffith Park, lounge around on the grass, or relax inside. I have an assortment of mental stimulation toys/games as well as frisbees and balls. I can also do some trick or obedience work with your dog to hone in on what they already know.

Availability
I am currently off from work and have full time availability during the week. I am almost always available on the weekends. My dogs receive three walks a day: morning, lunch, and evening; and that doesn't include any adventures we go on!
