I had traveled for a conference with my dog who had just had eye surgery, and hired Ryanne for dog daycare during the days I was there. Ryanne has trouble with reading comprehension. She said she could pick my dog up and I said I would drop my dog off at her house at 8 am the day of the start of the conference. I went to the address she had listed on Rover. No one there. I texted her, she said she was going to let me know that she was at the store but she thought she was going to pick my dog up. I said no, I told you when I would be at your place. She said she was on her street, then she said she was home, but the door never opened bc she didn’t live there and hadn’t updated her address!! She lived somewhere else and gave me that address then she gave me yet another address. There was no way I was going to leave my fur baby with Ryanne by that point. I headed back to my Airbnb and put my pup in her crate, and was an hour late for the conference. I let Ryanne know later that I would be requesting a refund from Rover because she wasn’t available when she was supposed to babysit (8 am on the scheduled date was also listed in the pet instructions, which she didn’t read.)
