Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Ryanna Tarbox-VanDoren and my pet care experience includes working as a kennel technician at my veterinary hospital for a year and a half and watching my family members pets. I know how to administer medicine, look for the signs of an unwell or ill animal, and how to properly take care of an animal. My family has trusted me over the years to take care of their dogs and cats. I also have two cats of my own.

This was our first time meeting Ryanna, she was a pleasure working with. Our Irie girl loved her. She was very attentive with Irie, took her for walks and played with her. One thing that stood out to me was, she was on time for every drop in. We will definitely be using Ryanna again.
Ryanna took good care of my dogs. She is very friendly and it was great having her watch my fur babies. She kept me updated and sent pictures. I definitely will rebook with her.
Ryanna was extremely accommodating when I needed a last minute booking after a different sitter canceled, and when I needed extra drop ins from flight delays. I could tell how much she loved spending time with my cat, Link. She took great notes that covered everything that she did during each drop in visit, and took great pictures showing that Link was happy and well taken care of ❤️ I will definitely use Ryanna when needed in the future!
Ryanna is an amazing caregiver, but she’s also very kind, sweet, and very trustworthy and just overall a good person. Will definitely be using her services again!

Because I live in an apartment, I am only able to do drop-in visits. All of my pet sitting experience has been in the client’s home; so, I am very comfortable taking care of your pet(s) in your home and making them feel safe and cared for.

The most important to know ahead of time is your pet(s) personality and typical behaviors because as a care-taker I can then assess if your pet(s) is/are acting normal. If not, then I can contact you and make sure your pet(s) is/are okay and need additional attention. I also strongly believe it’s important to follow feeding guidelines and schedules to make sure they are being fed properly and adequately.
A typical day
With dogs I would LOVE to take them on long walks (if able) and play fetch with them or with whatever toys they like. With cats I love to play with laser pointers or whatever toys they enjoy.

Availability
I am working full-time but I have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings and weekends to care for your pet(s). My work schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30-5. I can watch your pet(s) between 6AM-8AM before work and after 5PM. On the weekends I can visit up to 3 times between 6AM-10PM. My husband is in the military; so, I have easy access in and out of base to watch pets in Fort Riley, but I’m based in Junction City. I want to watch pets in my town or on base to ensure that your pet(s) receive the best care!!
