I like to form personal connections with the dogs I take care of. My family owned a dog for 12 years and I miss that connection in my life-I take every chance I can get to spend time with my friends’ pets! I took care of a friend’s dog for a week at her house while her family was away moving her into college. My responsibilities included going on walks, playing outside, letting him out for bathroom breaks, feeding him, administering medicine, and just being there for him. I also gave him a light bath after he jumped in the lake on a hike we went on-he loves swimming! I enjoy playing games and going on walks and hikes with dogs of all kinds, or even just giving them a nice belly rub. I have been walking dogs on Rover for a year now, and I have had a great experience! I am also a competitive figure skater so my other main engagement is training.
