We have a small but incredibly active, bouncy and rather boisterous doggo called Pogo. He loves all humans, but sometimes a little too much, and so not everyone can handle him. When it came to finding a dog walker we were a little worried. However, we got very lucky and found Ryan. He has been absolutely amazing with Pogo and has been able to handle Pogo's energy level! Ryan has been super reliable, and easy to communicate with, and overall just great! We are very thankful and would highly recommend! And as an added bonus, he has great photo skills, so we now have a bunch of really nice photos of our boy, and they always put a smile on my face whilst I was at work, missing my Pogo.

Ryan is super responsive and timely. He is proving my dog can be a better walker with me as I’m seeing his progress. I’ll continue to select Ryan as my go to guy! And he is an amazing photographer!!!

Walking dogs in their familiar area is an excellent way to provide them with exercise, mental stimulation, and a sense of security. Familiar areas are locations where dogs feel most comfortable and confident, such as the neighborhood they live in or nearby parks they frequent. As a professional dog walker, I always prioritize walking dogs in their familiar area to ensure they have a positive and enriching experience during their walk.

Information Ryan T. would like to know about your pet

Temperament: Knowing a dog's temperament can give you an idea of their general disposition and behavior. For example, is the dog typically friendly and outgoing, or shy and reserved? Do they have a history of aggression or fear? Medical history: Knowing a dog's medical history is important if you're going to be interacting with them on a regular basis. You should be aware of any allergies, illnesses, or medical conditions that the dog has, as well as their vaccination status. Training: Understanding a dog's level of training can give you an idea of their obedience and any commands they may know. Knowing this information can help you interact with the dog in a way that they are familiar with and comfortable with. Preferences: It's important to know a dog's likes and dislikes when it comes to food, toys, and activities. This information can help you provide the dog with a positive experience and avoid any potential triggers. History: Knowing a dog's history can give you insight into their past experiences and any trauma they may have experienced. This can help you understand why the dog may have certain behaviors or preferences, and allow you to interact with the dog in a way that makes them feel safe and comfortable.

A typical day

Play Fetch: Dogs love to chase and retrieve toys, so playing fetch is a great way to provide them with exercise and mental stimulation. Go on a Hike: Take your dog on a scenic hike or nature walk to give them a change of scenery and plenty of opportunities to explore new smells and sights. Teach New Tricks: Spend some time teaching your dog new tricks or practicing obedience training. Not only will it keep their minds sharp, but it can also strengthen the bond between you and your dog. Have a Playdate: Arrange a playdate with another dog owner or take your dog to a dog park to socialize and play with other dogs. Go Swimming: Many dogs love to swim, so take them to a nearby lake, river, or beach for some fun in the water. Do Agility Training: Set up an agility course in your backyard or take your dog to a local agility training class to challenge their physical and mental abilities. Play Hide and Seek: Hide treats or toys around the house or backyard and encourage your dog to find them. It's a fun way to provide mental stimulation and encourage problem-solving skills.
