Announcement: Due to a close family members health declining I have decided to take a step back and help look after them. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and hopefully I'll be back soon to look after dogs. An elderly customer who's dog I looked after passed away a couple of months ago. I was asked if I would like to take her on full time so I said yes. So along with my African Grey parrot I now have a Staffordshire bull terrier cross who is 7 years old, neutered, microchipped and up to date with worming and vaccinations. I have always loved animals and this passion has extended into my studies. It is something I want to pursue as a career and this allows me to do so. My family have always had pets and I've grown up with a variety from cats and dogs to fish. Even the less common such as a horse and parrot. Once I left high school,I went to study a vet nursing preparatory course at Edinburgh Telford College followed by studying animal care up to HNC level at SRUC Elmwood Campus where I continued to improve my practical skills by working with birds, horses, reptiles and amphibians. As part of the animal care course I managed to pass the kennel club bronze dog citizenship award as part of a dog training module I done. All my certificates can be presented for added reassurance plus I have references from the vet practice I was on placement at. I don't drive but can travel to the city centre of Edinburgh as South Queensferry has a bus service and rail service. The house itself is an upstairs/downstairs semi-detached terrace with an enclosed front and spacious back garden. It is also a decent size so can accommodate for any size of dog. Lastly there is plenty of places to go on walks and for your dog to run around! Plus I have friends with dogs so your dog can play with them and lastly they'll always be someone home so your dog isn't left alone. It's not just dogs I will look after. I will look after any other pet(s) you have! If you have any questions please leave a message and I will get back to you. The dates I am unavailable I have been booked to look after pets by people not on this site or by owners who's dogs are reactive towards other dogs. I'm more than happy to adjust my prices for returning customers.

We left our 4 month old puppy with Ryan for a week. She has stayed with him before and was excited to see him again. He sent regular pupdates with photos and even a video. He did some training with her and it didn't feel like we had gone backwards with it, we were able to pick up where we left off. She was healthy and happy when we collected her and had definitely grown a bit. Ryan is quite knowledgeable and is definitely caring, would highly recommend.
Ryan is great at communicating to arrange bookings and sending pupdates with photos. So far he has looked after our wee puppy Ogee for just one day. I was a bit uncertain leaving a young 3 month old pup with a sitter but now have every confidence she will remain happy and healthy in his care in the coming weeks.
I recommend definetely Ryan. He take care for our dog 2 different time and He is very professional.
This was the first time I have left my dogs with anybody out with friends and family as one of my dogs in particular is very anxious but as soon as they arrived at Ryans I could tell that she was relaxed as she started checking the house out. I was kept up to date with how they were getting on and all seemed to go very well.
