We booked Ryan from Dec 24th 7pm to December 26th 7pm to house sit. We told him he didn’t have to stay the night but asked him to let our dog Jaxx out and spend a couple hours with him each day. On the 1st night we believe he never showed up to take Jaxx out (our lock system documents when people come in and out of our Apt). This was made weirder because he said he did. On the second day he showed up in the am and night time after we reminded him to check on Jaxx. This time we asked him to send pictures because the trust was gone (surprise, those log entries worked). On the last full day he showed up once around 11am for 15 total minutes, despite being booked until 7pm. According to our lock system, he spent a total of 55 minutes over three paid days of "house sitting" with our dog. We didn't expect a full sitting over the holidays but less than one hour over three full days is objectively ridiculous. We've never sent a 1 star review before but frankly we don't trust this guy with our dog and want to warn others. Our guess is he didn't realize our apartment tracks all entries and exits automatically through the app that grants door access.
