Pet care experience
I was born into a family that loves dogs and cats and have taken that love into my adult life. I grew up with and cared for two dogs and a cat, and now am surrounded by friends and family with pets, many of whom trust me to care for them on a routine basis. I view household animals as an extension of their human, and treat them with the same respect and care that they deserve in that context.

Ryan was fantastic! He kept us informed with regular updates and pictures, all the while taking incredible care of our pup Ida. We plan on calling on Ryan for dog care in the future.
Ryan took excellent care of our home and cat. He communicated well and went above and beyond to keep the house clean. We’ll definitely book him again.
Ryan was so incredible with our pup, Archie, who is currently going through cancer treatment. He watched him for 7 days while we were in the backcountry skiing (ie little to no cell service) and handled his health stuff and coordination with our vet so we didn’t have to worry about anything. It was clear that Archie was well loved and cared for and Ryan took great care of our home while we were away. I feel so grateful to have found such a thoughtful and lovely sitter for such a big trip. 10/10 would recommend using Ryan!!
Ryan was great!! We had him watch our cat and dog for a weekend and came home to happy animals and a clean house. He was responsive and sent lots of pictures! Would definitely recommend him.

Over the past 5 years, I have stepped in as the main caretaker for 2-4 weeks at a time for three different households with several different pairs of dogs on various occasions. One household has a pit bull and husky, both of whom are kept well-run, fed, watered, and cleaned. Another household has two dogs that some folks might consider “needy”: one jack russel terrier with chronic anxiety and one black lab with hyperactivity—however, due to their quirks and unique personalities, they’re actually some of the most enjoyable dogs that I have spent time with!

A typical day
I love going on trail runs with dogs! I also enjoy taking slow nature walks where we can both enjoy the sights and smells that surround us. I am happiest when spending time in local trail and parks with dogs (and humans).

I am a trail runner, and value the motivation that active dogs give me to get outside and exercise regularly, especially during the winter in the PNW :)
