Hey! I'm Ryan and am super excited to give you and your best bud/buddette an awesome time! I come from a dog household and have 6 years of professional/volunteer experience taking care of all kinds of dogs. Whether your doggo is high energy and ready to play or chill-vibes-only, I'm ready to make sure they (and you) have a great experience. I'm a former San Francisco Muttville volunteer (senior dogs to the front!) and volunteered with Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) back in Virginia (where I'm originally from!). Your doggo pal will be tended to and taken care for the entirety of the requested service - I'll be sure to keep you in the loop too! No unreasonable preference of care is off-limits, so please feel free to let me know of anything I can do to make my service perfect. Thank YOU for entrusting your best friend with me! Ryan stayed at our house and did a fantastic job taking care of our Golden Retriever, as well as our house, during our two week vacation. He followed all our instructions, gave our Golden lots of love and attention, and sent us updates with photos and/or videos every day while we were away. We recommend Ryan without hesitation and will definitely be calling him for future dog and house sitting needs!

Ryan was great with Archie! Ryan was very attentive and caring. He realized that Archie wasn’t feeling well and took the initiative to bring him to the vet. Afterwards, Ryan stayed with Archie longer than we had originally booked for because Ryan wanted to be sure Archie was well taken care of. Thank you Ryan!!
My dogs love Ryan! They warmed up to him quickly and he sent daily updates (and even checked in to make sure we got back ok and they weren't home alone). Thanks so much, Ryan!!

I am cautious and defensive by default. While out, I am always watching for other animals (pets or otherwise) and will be protective until we are clear of any potential harm. I will always put myself between your pet(s) and anything that could be harmful (e.g., roadside walking, other pets, wild animals) and am sure to keep a tight grip on any lead being used. Being safe and in control are always top of mind when watching over your pet(s)!

If your dog has any allergies, medication, triggers, behavior patterns, or special little quirks please let me know! I'm happy to take care of all kinds of breeds and have lots of experience with small, medium, and large sized dogs. I love senior dogs and aim to be fully accommodating with special needs dogs.
A typical day
I love to be out and about and would love to have your doggo join me and/or lead the way! CT has beautiful parks that I love to take advantage of. 30-60 minute walks? No problem! Half-day or full-time exploration trips? Just tell me what's on- or off-limits and I'll carve out a special plan for us! I will get to know your dog and tailor my service to their personality. High or low energy indoor or outdoor play dates are totally on the table - whatever they want! Fetch, snuggles, frisbee, tug-o-war are all ready to go.

Availability
I work remotely full-time (in healthcare tech) with just my laptop, so all I need is an internet connection and I’m ready to rock and roll. Any pet(s) in my care will always be my first priority :)
