Welcome to The BarkYard! We love dogs and will treat your best friends like our own! Our home is very spacious with a half acre of completely fenced in yard for them to run free! My 13 year old son is eager to help take care of your pups! Any and all instructions you leave for us will be followed with the utmost care to keep your furchild happy! We'd love to have your dogs stay with us overnight! Please book a home visit to see our property before booking!

Ryan and Clark were amazing! I had to find dog boarding on very short notice due to a funeral in the family. As you can imagine, the stress is already so high. They welcomed my dog Medo and were absolutely the best. They kept me informed, they maintained my usual routines with him and he got tons of play time and affection. They have a beautiful and spacious backyard which any dog would adore. Highly recommend trusting Ryan and Clark with your canines and I look forward to bringing Medo back when I need boarding again.
Milou was very well cared for, even had his own room ? This was Milous first time away from us, plus sharing a home with another dog. We appreciated having regular updates and photo's. Thank you so much .....

We have a half acre of fenced in yard, beautifully maintained with plenty of sunshine and fresh air for your pet to roam free! We do have crates available for sleeping if your pet prefers a private space. We have a 3 year old Dachshund Terrier named Brando Thomas who is fully vaccinated and very friendly with dogs of all breeds and sizes. Brando sleeps in our bed but your pets will have their own space in a private bedroom with plenty of toys and comfortable beds or a crate if they prefer something more private. We're able to administer oral medication to dogs of all ages and sizes but not injections. Our pup was rescued as well, so teaching them tricks was always a fun time!

A typical day
With plenty of land to roam free we're able to provide plenty of exercise and stimulation. We have lots of toys and will engage regularly in one on one and group playtime. We live by the water and will provide walks to see the Rideau River (with your consent).

I work full time during the day but we're available overnight to care for your best friends! We're available on weekends too with minimal notice and can accommodate evening bookings.
