Boarding - Including Difficult Dogs
Pet care experience
3 Night Minimum. I am a graduate of the Michael Ellis School for Dog Trainers and have experience handling and training dogs of all sizes and personalities. I live on 5 fenced acres near the La Pine State Park. Some dogs are just hard to find boarding for when you have to leave. They don't get along great with other dogs, don't do well in kennel setting, or just need their personal space. I have experience with aggression of various types, human directed and dog to dog. My goal is to provide you a place to be able to comfortably leave your dog where they will be in a quiet, peaceful, controlled environment. Visits Prior to Boarding: On occasion I get people who want to come by and see if my dogs get along with theirs. Just to be clear, I will never introduce my dogs to a new dog just to see if they get along. I am very methodical about how I introduce dogs and that usually comes after getting to know them a bit so I can make sure all the dogs are appropriate and safe. It's best for both your dogs and mine. If you want to arrange a time to come by and see my setup, you are welcome to do that. Please reach out with any question you may have.
Reviews
Ryan took excellent care of my Golden, Charlie. Charlie seemed to really bond with Ryan and was really excited to see him again when I brought him back a few days later for another stay.
Ryan had great communication and took wonderful care of my dog! ?
Ryan was fantastic. The drop off and pick up times were super flexible which isn't always the case on Rover. He had great quarters for our dog, and sent videos throughout the stay showing how much fun he was having running all over his 5 acres! I couldn't ask for a better place to leave him. I would 100% recommend using Ryan's services, and I will definitely be booking him again.
I was nervous about leaving 13-year old Jenna in a new boarding space as I had recently moved to Oregon. Ryan was great and provided her with her own "hotel" room complete with a couch and doggy bed. He also introduced Jenna to his three dogs under careful supervision and all got along fine. I received a few pictures that showed her doing well. When I picked her up she was happy to see me and her fur was still soft and shiny. When I've left her in the care of friends in the past, her fur has felt rough when I get home which indicates a level of stress. I will happily use Ryan again as he's only 1 mile from my home and an excellent boarding option.

I've recently renovated a 220 sqft room attached to my garage, which is solely dedicated to dogs. The room is temperature controlled and has visual monitoring. See Pictures If your dog is not destructive and properly house trained when left alone, they are welcome to have the full room to themselves. I have a couch, TV and other normal amenities in there. It's quite a penthouse for dogs.

Information Ryan M. would like to know about your pet
Any information you can provide about your dogs is helpful. Including training history, medical needs/ history, behavioral concerns etc. I am also able to feed a raw diet, if provided the food.
A typical day
Every day can bet a little different but most days, dogs get out in the morning to run around a bit, explore and potty. I typically feed them and let them rest for a minimum of an hour to prevent any potential bloat or issues causes from exercise after eating. Dogs get let out throughout the day, depending on their needs. Can play ball, go for a bike ride on BLM land, or socialize with other dogs when appropriate.

Availability
I work full time from home and currently in a remote graduate school program so I am pretty much always home with the exception of errands and other short outings. I like to ensure any dog is getting proper physical and mental stimulation each day.
