Pet care experience

Beyond Qualified with 3 Pet Shelters in Gainesville, FL providing True professional care to all animals. To this day, I still impress myself with what I can accomplish with animals. RECENT WORK - Watched an unpotty trained 6 month old puppy and had her fully potty trained in a week! Not only do I have my lifetime's worth of animal experience which includes cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas, fish, extending to rescued mocking birds/baby ducklings, but I also have recent professional experience working and volunteering for local pet shelters such as: Gainesville Pet Rescue - Volunteer, 2017 Humane Society of North Central Florida - Employee, 2021 Haile's Angel Pet Rescue - Employee, 2022 Working for pet shelters opened my professional knowledge in true animal care and helping to pet sit dozens of dogs in the past few years has helped me perfect my sitting and training techniques at home. I am also becoming an expert at walking multiple dogs at once as my record is 6 dogs in 1 walk with minimal chaos. SERVICES: Walking, sitting, playing, bathing, specific feeding (even bottlefeeding puppies/kittens), and administering medication. NO DISCRIMINATION: No matter the breed, size, age, shyness, aggression level, or appearance, I care for and love ALL pets! I work around your pets personality and needs to make them the most comfortable with me while you're away. Every pet is different, so I tailor my care specifically for your pets needs, no matter the size, breed, and personality. SHY OR AGGRESSIVE PETS: A shy or aggressive pet is nothing but a challenge for me to befriend it. I'm not afraid of a cat or dog being overly defensive with me being new to their life, and understand that some dogs aren't as outgoing as others. In a case of shyness or aggression, I act carefully around each personality I come across to make your pets love me by the end the day. MEDICATION: Being around so many animals, I've had to administer a handful of cats and dogs both liquid and pill medicines. I am more than happy to continue their current medication regiment to keep them healthy and give you peace of mind while your away. Animal care has always come naturally to me, so understanding your pets needs, emotions, and body language is immediate. I understand the stress of having to leave your pets in someone else's hands, and the stress it brings especially with certain cats and dogs. My goal is to eliminate that stress on both sides, so that your pets are comforted and so can rest easy knowing that your pets are in the best hands of a professional animal caretaker in Gainesville.

Ryan has always been an animal lover. As a child he was known as the dog whisper as one of our neighbors adopted an abused dog. Ryan was the only person who the dog would let near him. He has also had cats his whole life. They all gravitate to him like he has some charm.

I have know Ryan for a couple of years now and he has always done very well with animals. He even has 14 of his own! I have trusted him many times in the past to care for my dogs and he has always went above and beyond for them. He not only gave my epi beagle her meds but he also helped train my two younger dogs while I was out of town. Since knowing Ryan, I have been overly impressed with his care for animals and the passion he has for them his drive to go above and beyond for them and treat them as his own is why I will always bring my dogs back to him. Being a rover sitter myself, I really care for my animals and I am very picky about who I bring them to but Ryan always give the reassurance that I need that they are safe and sound and send updates often with pics of them having their best life. I give Ryan 5 out of 5 stars! ⭐️

Information Ryan L. would like to know about your pet

I like to know what time they are used to walking, feeding, taking meds, and sleeping so I can keep them on schedule. What their habits are (good and bad), favorite activities, how they are around other people and dogs, their energy level, and anything specific you want me to know!

A typical day

I love the entertainment that goes with day to day doggie care. It's a routine that keeps me busy and helps your animal child thrive as they go on walks, play, and eat. I usually begin the the day with a walk, followed by playtime! This usually works up an appetite to ensure that your baby eats the whole portion of food after burning calories. The excitement of walking, playing, and eating makes a doggie so happy and fulfilled that passing out is typically what happens next. A tired dog is a happy dog! After that I play the day by ear besides scheduled feeding, meds and walking. Whatever your dog likes to do, I want to do it with them! I love taking the time to bring them to a park or dog park to walk or play with other puppies depending on how social and friendly they are!
