Pet care experience
I work as a vet clinic assistant and can't wait to meet your furry friend! I am an expert dog walker, am very perceptive regarding animal behavior, and have experience caring for dogs after surgery. I am detail-oriented when administering medications and when caring for dogs with special needs or special diets. My family and I have fostered dogs of all shapes and sizes, including newborn orphaned puppies and senior dogs on multiple medications.

Ryan and his family made our puppy part of their home. This was our first time using Rover and Ryan helped make it a great experience.
Ryan and his family provided the best care possible in their home for our beloved, 12-year-old, Yorkie. Ryan and his family are true dog lovers and this was clear from our first meeting. As a furry family member, Modi is accustomed to cuddling, sitting on laps (while watching TV), and sleeping with us. Ryan and his family treated Modi as one of their own. We appreciated all of their updates and photos while we were away. Modi cuddled with everyone and received a lot of attention. We appreciate the walks and drives they took him on, as well as how considerate they were to check in to see if they could give them a bath the day before we arrived. My husband and I will definitely remain in touch with Ryan and his family on Rover to coordinate and book additional stays in the very near future. We are grateful for finding them on Rover. Our lil guy does not do well in larger (doggy daycare or boarding) settings so we would not even consider for him. This was the perfect family, fit and setting! Thank you, Ryan and family! We look forward to seeing you for another boarding soon! ;)
Darcy loved being at Ryan’s house. We were able to go over ahead of our booking and meet the family as well as their foster dog to ensure it would be a good fit. Darcy loved having access to a fenced-in yard. Ryan sent pictures throughout her stay and kept us posted on how she was doing. We will 100% book with Ryan again!

Your pet's safety is my number one concern; my family and I are very protective. We have a fenced yard and have decades of experience making sure furry friends do not "escape" out our front door. Fortunately, we live on a dead end, so there is very little traffic in our neighborhood. We live in a duplex, and there is plenty of room to play and explore.

Please let us know if your dog has any special needs, special diet or medications. It would be helpful to know if they are accustomed to sleeping in a crate (we have 3 crates), on furniture, or on the floor.
A typical day
I interact a lot with the dogs we care for, including playing with squeaky toys, playing fetch in our fenced in backyard, and taking them for walks to the park near our house. Your dog can expect to be petted throughout the day and cuddled on the couches, rugs or blankets in our house. Depending on the weather, your dog can play with the sprinkler or the snow in our fenced in backyard.

I live with my parents and my 17 year old brother. An adult will be home with your dog at all times. We are fortunate to have a grassy fenced yard where your dog will have fun playing! We are able to let your dog out for bathroom breaks as often as every 30 minutes if needed. If requested, we would be happy to walk your dog in our quiet neighborhood as well:)
