I completely trust my dog with Ryan, especially because of my dog's reaction every time he sees him. My dog absolutely loves him and I genuinely feel comfortable and at peace whenever I leave him with Ryan. Ryan is very attentive to my dog's wishes and needs. He takes him out for walks, plays with him at dog parks, cuddles with him, and gives him treats. He also sent me pictures and videos every day. Overall an excellent dog sitter! Highly recommend!!

Information Ryan K. would like to know about your pet

Understanding key information about the pets I'll be caring for is crucial for providing the best possible care. Before taking on the role of a dog and cat sitter, it's important to gather detailed information about each pet. Here are some essential points for me to consider: Feeding Schedule: Knowing the specific feeding times and the type of food each pet is accustomed to. In addition to any dietary restrictions or allergies. Medical Information: I would like to know any information on any existing health conditions or medications the pets may be taking. That includes being aware of any recent illnesses or surgeries. In case of emergency, I would like to know the contact information for the pets' veterinarian in case of emergencies. Behavioral Traits: It is critical to understand each pet's personality, including their likes, dislikes, fears, and habits. That includes knowing how they interact with other pets and people. It would be helpful to be aware of any behavioral issues or specific training commands they respond to. Exercise Needs: Be informed about the preferred exercise routine for dogs, including the frequency and duration of walks. Know if there are specific activities or games the pets enjoy for mental and physical stimulation. Comfort Items: I would like to be informed of their favorite toys, blankets, or comfort items that the pets use regularly. I would quickly identify any specific locations or spots where they like to relax or hide. Emergency Contacts: It would more efficient to exchange contact information for the pet owners as well as backup contacts in case of emergencies. I would make it my responsibility to familiarize myself with the location of the nearest veterinary clinic and animal hospital. House Rules: I would understand any specific rules or restrictions set by the pet owners for their home or advice for my home. This includes being aware of any areas of the house that are off-limits for pets. Special Instructions: Any special instructions or routines the pets are accustomed to would need to stated, such as how to handle grooming needs, brushing or nail trimming. Identification and Microchip Details: I would ensure that all pets have proper identification tags at all times. It would be helpful to know if the pets are microchipped and have the details on file. Emergency Plans: We would establish a plan for handling emergencies, including what to do in case of illness or injury. This includes knowing the location of first aid supplies in the home. By gathering this information ahead of time, I will be well-prepared to provide attentive and personalized care for your pets in my charge. Effective communication with you is essential to ensure I have all the necessary details and can address any specific concerns or preferences you may have.

A typical day

As a dog and cat sitter, my typical day will revolve around providing the best care and companionship for your pets you I am responsible for. On days that the pet and I are fully together, our day will begin with a cheerful greeting for the pets to make them feel comfortable and reassured. Then feed them and ensure they have fresh water. Spend some time playing with the dogs, engaging in activities like fetch or tug-of-war to get their energy levels up. I would take the dogs for a morning walk. This not only provides them with exercise but also allows them to explore their surroundings and get some fresh air. My community also has nearby dog parks and trails. In the afternoon after some time outside, your pet would be fed again if instructed. We would go take some time to relax and nap. I would ensure to create a comfortable and cozy space for them to relax, ensuring they have their favorite toys or blankets. It is important to engage the pets in stimulating activities. For dogs, this could include additional walks, training sessions, or interactive games. For cats, use toys like feathers or laser pointers to encourage play. I would spend quality time petting and bonding with them. For the evening, I would prepare the evening meal for the pets, ensuring it aligns with their dietary needs and instructions. I would take the dogs for another walk, allowing them to expend any remaining energy. I would spend time cuddling with the cats, providing them with affection and grooming if needed. I would wind down the day with some quiet time to allow the pets to relax and get comfortable for the night. It's important to ensure they have access to water and a comfortable sleeping area. If required, I would safely administer any necessary medications. I would perform a final check on the pets, ensuring they are settled for the night. I would send updates to the owners throughout the entire day, including photos and brief summaries of the day's activities. Lock up the house and make sure all the pets are secure and content. Remembering, flexibility is key, as each pet has its unique preferences and needs. I would tailor the activities to suit their personalities, and always prioritize their well-being and safety. Communication with the pet owners is crucial to ensure you're meeting their expectations and addressing any specific requirements for each individual pet.
