Pet care experience
My wife and I have had pets our whole lives, to include dogs, cats, horses, chickens, goats, donkeys, and more. Ryan grew up raising and training Golden Retriever puppies and has worked, in various capacities, for a vets office since he was 15. We've done pet and house sitting to include stopping by to let dogs out at lunch, all the way to full fledge farm sitting for horses, goats, donkeys, guinea pigs and more! We have one VERY friendly dog of our own, after many years of having 3 dogs.
Reviews
This was my first time using Rover and there was a level of angst about leaving my companion with someone I never met. Ryan immediately put me at ease with his responsiveness and communication. He was incredibly flexible when I had fluctuating time frames for drop off and pick up. He provided me updates throughout the day including photos. My pup had a great stay with Ryan and his family. I’d absolutely have my pup stay with Ryan again when we’re in the area again. Your dog will be in good hands!
Ryan and Bonnie were great! They took care of our two 13 y.o. Labs and provided regular updates. They stayed in our home and it was just as we left it. I also appreciate the honesty around any small concerns to make sure they received the right care! We will definitely use again.
Ryan and his wife went above and beyond to watch our golden retriever for the weekend. Ryan is a very kind person and easy going. He was very flexible To our schedule which made a big impact on our visit.i can't say enough good things about our experience except thank you so much Ryan!
Mya really enjoyed her time at Ryan’s house! Really friendly, and communicative. Lots of space for the pups to run!

In the future we will have a fenced in yard. Right now we have a 12x12 foot fenced in area for dogs, as well as a dog run right off our back door. We are far away from any main roads, and live on a dead end, low traffic, road.

Information Ryan H. would like to know about your pet
It's important to know compatibility with other dogs. We have one dog who is very social and friendly. He is large (145lbs) so some animals can be a bit intimidated at first, but so far ever dog we've hosted has settled in nicely with him. We've had 19 y/o 25lbs dogs up to full sized labs etc stay with us without an issue. Must also be good with children as we have one child who is very dog savvy.
A typical day
We enjoying going for walks along the property and our dead end road. We have plenty of toys and high quality treats in the house at all times.

Availability
Ryans schedule varies on a two week rotation. One week he works 3 days the next he works 4, and repeat. Bonnie has a more traditional mon-fri job, working from home 2 days a week.
