When I was young, my family had three dogs that I would take care of and help raise. They all came from a mill dog rescue center and were severely traumatized by the experience. Luckily, through dedication and affection, our dogs were confident and friendly to be around anyone. Now, I am a proud dog owner of my very own rescue dog named Clover. She is adorable and sometimes silly, but I love her all the same. I taught her potty training and am currently in the process of getting her therapy dog-certified. A fun trick I taught her was to ring a bell by the door whenever she needed to go to the bathroom.
