Pet care experience
Having grown up with numerous dogs and cats, I fell in love with animals at an early age. As an adult, I spent four years of my life as an animal care specialist in a zoological park, having professionally cared for and trained species ranging from lions to gorillas to kangaroos, and practically everything in between. Nowadays, I still train and care for dogs, cats, and horses, but I mostly train children as a substitute teacher and sailing instructor. I’m so excited to look after your fur babies, regardless of size, age, and/or health, and will happily provide references upon request. Oh, and I’m also a budding professional photographer and will happily take some shots of your furry family members for you!

I’ve got extensive experience working with dogs that have endured significant trauma and have anxiety as a result, so I’ll make sure we keep things soothing and calm for those sensitive sweethearts. It’s my priority that I tailor my time with your pet to their preferences and well-being!
A typical day
I’m an avid outdoors enthusiast, so we’ll be going on lots and lots and LOTS of adventure walks! I prefer to take advantage of the Anacortes and San Juan Islands trail systems, as well as lengthier adventures near Chuckanut, the North Cascades, or the Olympics, location-depending. If your pet’s into swimming, that can also be added onto the agenda! If your pets prefer the quieter side of things, that’s perfectly okay, too - I’m also an avid cuddle, belly rub, and snuggle enthusiast!
