My name is Ruthie and I am a wife to a loving husband and dog mom to 3 amazing beagles - Lilli, Maverick, and Twyla. Throughout my younger years I was a dog sitter for family, friends, and referrals, and loved taking care of them and spending time with them. During high school I volunteered at the Spokane Humane Society where I took care of the dogs by playing with them, exercising them, and even working on their manners when I had the chance. Now, when I'm not working from home, I spend my time showing and breeding AKC standard Beagles with my mom. I will always go above and beyond to make sure your dog feels safe and loved whether s/he's young or old, hyper or chill. If I could, I would adopt all the dogs and cows in the world. (Yeah, I have a thing for cows, too) The money I earn through this will help with the expenses that come along with being newly married, first-time homeowners as my husband works hard to finish nursing school. Depending on which service I am booked for and what personality your dog has will determine how I take care of your dog. If you have a senior dog who needs some cuddles, a little exercise to keep the joints greased, and medicine - I've got you covered! If you have a high-energy fuzzball that needs to run around your backyard 50 times and go for a 30-minute walk - my boots were made for walkin', and that's just what we'll do.

Do I need to feed your dog? If so, what time and how much? Is your dog okay unattended if I need to use the restroom or for any other odd reason? What commands do you use for your dog? Is your dog allowed on the couch? Is your dog not allowed in certain areas of your house/apartment? Where is your dogs leash and poop bags? Are there any specifics things you would like me to do with your dog? Do you have specific commands you prefer to use for your dog? (i.e. sit, stay, cookie, kennel, crate, down, etc.) Is your dog sensitive to anything? (i.e. loud sounds, sudden movements, hats, coats, it's shadow)
A typical day
Throwing a ball. Going for a walk. Running around outside. Cuddling together. Tug of war... I'll let them win, don't worry. ;) Honestly anything that will make them and you happy - from high-energy outside activities to mellow inside ones.
