Pet care experience
I'm an all around animal lover, protector & rescuer. I will take your dog / dogs to the dog park, &/or go on long walks. Also, I will be happy to take excellent, outstanding care of your kitty cat/s. I can lovingly & thoroughly clean / bath your dog & possibly give him or her a little hair cut if you desire. Your dog will receive lots of love & attention from me, & playing & goofing around. And if you have a kitty cat, I will give him/her TLC. I have my 12 year old human daughter who loves dogs & cats. We have our little Lola, a young female Chihuahua Pug mixed, a "Chug," a very precious, pretty & adorable little lady, our baby, who is very friendly to small & large dogs. My male black cat is very mellow & comfortable with dogs, he's the one who's my daughter's baby ; "mellow Maxie" is sweet, & he's very used to dogs. And we have another kitty cat - Precious. I guarantee your dog will always be happy to see me. I would love the opportunity to get to know & care for your dog ; they are so rewarding, & they make the best companions. And if you have a cat, I'm happy to take care of your kitty cat/s as well. Thank you for entrusting me with your pet/s. I know they are very dear to us & in our hearts, and they're family members.

I had booked this sitter for 5 days reservation for her to came and walk my dog during the day only. I say this with a heavy heart and sadness. During the interview, Ruthie was very nice, but what a surprise ordeal we got on this sitter service. I would never recommend using her. Items: 1- Does not follow instructions at all. 2-Gave my dog food which was not part of his very special diet which made him very sick. (She kept referring to my dog as a wolf -funny part he is a pug/beagle). 3- After cooking a meal for her family - she then put that same hot pot of food in the refrigerator without any protection under the pot or even on the shelf of the refrigerator. 4- When my son returned home from work the night before going on vacation, to find she had her dog on my brand new countertop where we serve food. 5- Gave Ruthie a key to the front door that we used all the time that worked. On our return of the last day, she informed me that she had taken that same key to a locksmith to have it reshaped as she felt it was not working. When asked for locksmith contact details she refused to provide it ...( very scary ). 6- Called Rover right away- All I can say is Chris and his team were outstands about this horrible ordeal. Thank you Rover team.
Ruthie L. has been pet sitting for me for over 5 years. We have 2 Himayalian cats that are very picky, do not trust just anyone, need lots of affection, like to be walked and at times need medication. My husband & travel sometimes and being that our cats are Himayalan, they are very sociable and truly need and demand constant attention. Needless to say, we cannot leave them alone when we are away. They are also picky with whom they allow to pet them and who they want to play with, brush them, walk them, and certainly who they allow to give them their medication when needed. In addition, my husband & I do not let just anyone come to our home when we are away. Ruthie has been a life saver for us. She is extremely reliable, dependable, trustworthy, caring person who is a true animal lover. When we are away, we provide Ruthie with a key to our home. She comes twice a day, feeds our cats (dry and wet food), changes their water and plays with them. When one of my cats had an eye infection, Ruthie was able to administer the eye ointment on a daily basis. When our cats throw up hairballs, she gives them the hairball medication and they gladly lick it off her fingers. She brushes and combs them, and they do not allow anyone else but us and Ruthie to do so. She also cleans and changes their litter boxes and picks up and cleans any “accidents” that happen while we are gone. She gives them lots of love, and whenever she comes over and they hear her voice, they run to her. I never had Ruthie miss a visit, and never had anything missing. Ruthie truly gives us a piece of mind when we are away, knowing our home is safe, but more importantly, our babies are well taken care of, and they receive all the love and attention they need. I do not know what I would have done without her. I highly recommend her and feel that whomever has her as a pet sitter is a lucky person and a very lucky pet.

Please let me know if I need to give your dog any medication, and the dosage and frequency. I do prefer dogs that are friendly to other dogs, or are willing to try to engage with other dogs, but that's not required, and it's o.k. if he or she is shy or has any issues at all. The more information you provide me about your dog, the better. Please make sure his/her favorite toy, or blanket, &/or bed will be available, his/her or their treats and food..... Please inform me of any special diet as well. If your dog or cat has a disability or is physically limited, challenged or handicapped, if you show me & explain, I know I will take extra gentle care of him or her, and he or she will get lots of tender loving care, & a great deal of lots of attention from me. I promise. I'm a care giver by nature, and I will most definitely take special loving excellent care of your baby. I care about them from all my heart & soul. Please let me know if you adopted or rescued your dog, if he or she had any past abuse or neglect ?. To me, animals are people, they are God's creations, and they are precious & special family members that are theraputic, & they give us unconditional love. A typical day
We can go on long walks around your neighborhood or mine. Or if you would like, I can take your dog to the local dog park as well, and give him / her some freedom to run around & play with other dogs. You can let me know what your dogs enjoys, and I'll be happy to entertain him or her. I can drive longer then my 18 miles limit, to house sit, dog walking, drop ins, or grooming, more miles is all fine & good. However, I have a gas burning SUV, so tips will be appreciated for the cost of extra gas $.
