Pet care experience
I have FIVE rescue dogs of my own. I ran my own dog walking business for 6 years in NJ before we moved to NC. I am certified in pet first aid & cpr. I worked as a veterinary technician for three years. I also own a doggie boutique downtown! I have years of experience with senior dogs and am able to give all meds and injections as well. Above all, I treat EVERY dog I meet as if they are part of my own family. Mom/dad will be able to check in with me whenever they are missing their fur baby. I have made some lifelong doggie friends and I like to continue to care for a dog once I ha r an established relationship with them so they feel comfortable.

Ruthie has been giving exceptional care to my (2) dogs for over 6 years. She is genuine in loving my fur babies. Ruthie has always been dependable. Her calm and caring domineer makes me feel at ease leaving. She comes into my home and gets right down on the floor to greet my babies. I know my dogs have been well cared for when I return to see them happy!
Ruthie was an amazing dog walker to my large group of pets (4 dogs and 2 cats), before I moved out of her area. I trusted Ruthie to care for my pets as she would her own, and she had no problems giving my pets pills, injections, and eye medications. She is trustworthy and has a lot of knowledge on dog and cat behavior, even winning over my fearful rescue dog. If Ruthie was available to me as a pet sitter now, I would have no qualms with hiring her again. She's amazing!
You couldn't find a better dog sitter than Ruthie. 8 years ago, I hired Ruthie to walk my rescue dog Petey. It has been a wonderful partnership for all these years. She is kind to Petey and his 4 rescue cat friends. I feel confident that my animal friends are well cared for when I have to go away. I know that she is attentive to their health and emotional needs. And I can feel confident even when I am not at home. She is honest and trustworthy. She leaves notes to say how the walk/visit went. We miss Ruthie and am always glad when she travels back to NJ.
