Pet care experience
As dog owners we have used Rover ourselves for years and know the importance of finding the right fit for your dog while you’re away. I’m a stay at home mom and my husband is home part-time so we feel that we can offer a wonderfully caring and safe environment for your pups. We have a half acre of fenced in yard and love taking dogs for hikes if that is something you’d like! We are new to boarding dogs in our home officially, but watch friends’ dogs as well as have one of our own and can offer personal references. Our goal is to offer you peace of mind while you’re away and your dogs lots of love and attention so that they are as happy as possible in our home.

We can play with your dog in our yard as well as take them for walks and/or hikes. Our two pups will be great company but if your dog prefers their own space we can accommodate that as well. Feel free to bring a crate if that is preferable, we are happy to use one if that is what your dog is used to.

Because we have two dogs and a 2 year old child, it is important for us that your dog is child and dog friendly so they can spend time with us as much as possible.
A typical day
As a long time dog owner and a current dog foster family, I have an understanding of dogs and their individual needs and personalities. I will make sure their comfort and needs are prioritized. I love to start mornings outside in our yard before breakfast and then a walk. We have a couple of great places we like to take our dogs to walk in the woods near our home and live close to a greenway. Depending on your dog we can do walks or play in the yard. We are home most of the day to ensure lots of attention and potty breaks.

We are home most of the day and are flexible with our schedule so that we can accommodate your pup’s needs. There will likely only be short periods of time at most that they are alone and we will make sure to talk to you about our schedule and what works best for you and your dog. We also will make sure your dog feels comfortable and secure before ever leaving them alone.
