Pet care experience
I have lived with dogs and/or cats for most of my life, and I have been caring for other people's pets since I was eight years old, when I started my first cat-sitting gig that lasted many years. Since then, I have pet-sat for countless families' dogs and cats, with 2 years of experience on Rover. In addition to dogs and cats, I have cared for a variety of farm animals. I work at a farmed animal sanctuary, where I care for cows, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, guinea fowl, goats, and sheep. I am comfortable and competent when caring for all types of animals, so I guarantee that your pets are in good hands :)

Ruth was so wonderful to work with. She was extremely communicative when we needed a sitter last minute and put us at ease coming for a meet and greet with our 4 dogs and 2 cats the same day. She was unfazed by their boisterous greeting and sent plenty of pictures throughout her visits, even befriending the most skeptical of fur babies. We made last minute changes to scheduled visits and she agreed without hesitation. I highly recommend her!
Ruth was absolutely amazing! Our dog is nervous and she met us at the park and my house multiple times beforehand to make sure he was comfortable. She took equally great care of our rabbit. I highly recommend Ruth and will use her again in the future!
Ruth is the absolute best. She took amazing care of our 2 enormous, boisterous dogs and our 2 cats. She kept us informed during our whole trip and sent lots of photos. She also took excellent care of our house - it may actually have been cleaner when we got back than when we left! It is so hard to not worry about your animals when you are away, but we were totally at ease knowing that Ruth was taking such good care of them. We will without a doubt be asking Ruth to watch our house and animals again in the future when we go away.
Ruth is super sweet, responsive, and responsible! We have already rebooked her two more times to stay at our house to watch our pup Ruby because she is so great. Thank you so much, Ruth!

Availability
I work on-site 8 hours a day Tuesday-Saturday. I can housesit or drop in on cats any day of the week, but I can dog-sit on Sundays and Mondays only.
