I’ve had multiple family pets in the past, and I now thoroughly enjoy caring for dogs through Rover. I enjoy giving dogs “royal treatment” so they will enjoy their stay with me like a fun vacation! I have a fenced back yard. And I enjoy taking dogs for walks in my neighborhood. I am especially fond of older dogs. A black lab was part of our family for 12 years. I will lovingly care for your dog just as I would my own. I’m currently only working part time two days a week, and primarily home the rest of the time, so your dog would get lots of attention. I have a large fenced back yard for your dog to play in. Our home is conveniently located close to the CVG airport, but in a quiet neighborhood ideal for taking dogs on walks.

We haven't left our dog very much so we were a little nervous about how he would do away from us for two days. Ruth was fantastic. She was flexible with our arrival time and very communicative, both before, answering all our questions, and during our dog's stay, sending pictures and a video of him. Our dog loved the backyard and seemed calm and content when we picked him up. We highly recommend Ruth and would definitely have her keep our dog again!
Ruth was amazing with our senior dog Alex. We needed a last minute sitter and Ruth was able to accommodate us, which was a life saver, and we were able to enjoy our vacation. Alex is a huge part of our family and it was so relieving to find someone like Ruth to watch her.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or behaviors I should be aware of. I prefer easy-going dogs that are dependably house-broken and are on some type of preventive flea medication.
A typical day
I will typically take a dog for a daily 30 minute walk in my neighborhood, and throw balls for a game of fetch in my fairly large, fenced back yard.

I’m currently working just part time, two days a week, so that allows me plenty of time to give attention to your fur-baby. And my husband loves dogs as much as I do!
