I am excited to offer in home sitting & pet care in the Golden area! This gives me a fantastic opportunity to enjoy playing with your pets: as I don't have a dog, yet 😉 I have varied experience in pet services through working with a prestigious dog services company -Black Collar Society based out of Calgary, Alberta. Pet Care Experience includes: in-home sitting, group dog walks, private dog walks, and home visits. I am confident in pet care and truly enjoy spending time with your pets! I look forward to working with you in the future to ensure your pet receives the best care possible. In Home Sitting: Making sure your pet is entertained & loved while you are away- in the comfort of their own home. Generally includes minimum of 2 walks a day. Also countless pets and snuggles! Dog Walks: 30 mins - 1 hour strolls around the neighborhood. Or dog park visits.

Ruth often joins myself and my boxer Hemi for walks. She is always comfortable around other dogs as well as pet owners. She was a previous dog walker in Calgary, walking all different breeds and sizes. I fully trust her to take Hemi out even if I am not present. She is always so kind and loving towards Hemi, always willing to give extra hugs and kisses when she is being needy.
Ruth watched our dog, Stella, for five days over Christmas. Stella is a great Pyrenees/golden retriever mix, and just turned two years old, so she still gets excited and rambunctious! Ruth stays calm and confident. She is very attuned to Stella, and takes great care with her. Stella LOVES Ruth and gets so happy to see her! Highly recommended!

In order to provide the best quality service I require a meet & greet with owner and pet. As well as one private 1 on 1 walk with your pet. This is mandatory prior to any in home sitting sevices. This gives the dog an opportunity to become comfortable with me in their home. As many dogs are naturally protective of their home this creates a healthy bond prior to the parents leaving. I am bondable, trustworthy and have been offering dog in home sitting for several years. Connect with me if you have any questions!

Please communicate with me around your dog's needs. Such as socialization or comfort with other people/dogs. Also specific commands that are used. Whether they have good recall. On leash always/or off leash options.
A typical day
These services are catered to your dog's individual needs. May include: adventure to a nearby dog park to play with other pups (depending on your pups specific needs!) In home sitting includes 2 walks per day (1 morning & 1 evening) approximately 30mins - 45mins per walk. This depends on your dog's energy levels. As more walks are always available as well! I adhere to your pet's schedule. I am able to take your dog out on average every 3-6 hours. If more outdoor pee/poo breaks are required the service fee will reflect that as an add on charge per day (this is dependent on my availability- please commmunicate at time of booking if there are higher needs). I am happy to care for pets in your home so they feel comfortable! I love spending time with dogs and I am looking forward to playing with your pups!
