I'm happy you are on my page! I am a native of WNC and love animals- especially dogs and cats! My first job was at a local dog kennel and throughout my life I've owned dogs, cats, lizards, and birds. Needless to say I'm excited to get to know you and your animals. Based out of the Mills River area, I am happy to travel anywhere within a 10 mile radius of Brevard/Hendersonville/Asheville.

Ruth was wonderful! We had two very young and untrained puppies which needed sitting and Ruth made leaving them very easy and worry free. She came out to meet them before our trip and put us at ease with her confidence! She consistently sent us picture and updates throughout our trip. Great job, would highly recommend Ruth!!
Ruth was great with my animals and very reliable. She made it easy for me to be out of town for work without having to worry about my house or fur babies. I highly recommend Ruth.
Ruth is an outstanding human and friend. I would trust her not only with any of my pets or child. She is extremely logical, kind, compassionate, insightful and nurturing. She has a dog and loves her very much and cares for her deeply. Her dog is very well taken care of with all it's needs- emotional, physical,etc. Highly recommend her!

A typical day
I always enjoy walks around the neighborhood, visiting the dog park, throwing the ball or frisbee, and generally just lazing about and being friends with dogs. For cats I am not very hands on, but happy to play with the cat if he/she is active and enjoys play time.

I am going to school to get my masters. This is a part-time endeavor where I will need to be out of town a few hours, one to two days a week.
