Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of practically any kind of pet you can think of, so I have experience with almost any animal you might need care for! I have a dog of my own (a senior husky/Aussie mix), who of course is a very loved member of the family. As your sitter, I can’t wait to give love and attention to your pet as if they’re my own and am comfortable taking them on walks or potty breaks, feeding, whatever they need! I am passionate about their wellbeing and will do anything to keep your pet happy, healthy, and safe!

Ruth was the best petsitter for my cat Calliope! I went out of town for two weeks and was nervous about leaving my baby at home for that long, so I decided to try Rover. Ruth talked through every concern I had and made me feel so much more comfortable with leaving. Calliope has some health issues and has to have a special diet/food routine, and Ruth did everything perfectly, as well as sending me regular pictures and updates. 10/10 job, and I will definitely be calling her any time I need to leave town again.
Ruth used to dog sit at my house and was always very punctual and responsible. She always tries to go above and beyoncé the required tasks and has a great attitude while doing so. She was a ray of sunshine and the dogs loved her. 10/10 would recommend.

I am comfortable with doing whatever form of pet sitting you need - I can change a litter box, take dogs on potty breaks, feed animals, clean up any house accidents, clean out a bird cage, and so on. Pretty much anything your pet may need, I’ve probably done it before! I can do brief walks as well, but not super long ones with this heat right now! I am happy to sit in your yard while your dogs run around and potty, or sit in your house so your pet has some human company for awhile. But if you’d rather me get in and get out in under five minutes, I can do that too. Really whatever you feel is best for your pet I am able and happy to do for you, and will treat your home with respect and your pets with love always!

No breed preferences! Would prefer to know: health restrictions/needs, general personality traits, how they are on a leash (if I will be walking them), bathroom tendencies (will they poop on leash or do they need to be roaming free in your yard? etc.)…and most importantly, is your pet safe around children? I will be bringing my 1 year old with me (he will stay in his carrier or stroller and won’t be touching your pet) so I can only offer services if your pet is safe around children.
A typical day
I love spring creek nature trail or any of the other little trail areas around richardson! Doing check ins with your pet, I would probably stick to your neighborhood (or a nearby park or trail) for walks, however, and keep the walks under 30 minutes, because of the heat right now. I of course love a good game of fetch or whatever other games your pet likes! I would also love to give your pet belly rubs or scratches or treats or whatever kind of attention they like best. Please tell me their/your preferences!

Availability
I am currently a stay at home mom to my 1 year old son. This means that I have a ton of time during the day, to come take care of your pet! My hours are very flexible and I’m comfortable with last minute switch ups in the schedule if needed! As for my son - he loves animals, especially dogs, and is used to them with our own dog always around. I would be needing to bring him along with me most of the time, as I don’t always have another childcare option. So if you’re comfortable with that, I am too! He is very easygoing and I would just wear him in a baby carrier or in his stroller, so that he isn’t just crawling all around your house or anything.
