Hello! My name is Russell and my dog is Ponyo. I’ve had him only 5 years, but I can hardly remember my life before him. He is as essential to me as my family and friends. Before Ponyo, growing up my family had two golden retrievers that we did everything with; each with a big personality that required its own unique attention and love. I’ve always had a child-like wonder for dogs; time with them was time I could try on life through a different set of eyes. For dogs, it seems, the world is always happening now and they’re keen on using all their of senses to explore it. Ponyo helps to remind me to live part of each day in the moment and to appreciate the simple things.

We signed up for a recurring drop in visit with Russell to check in with our pup Zander after we returned to working in person. He was kind and patient while Zander got familiar with him and it didn’t take long for him to recognize Russell as a friend and warm up to him. Would definitely recommend him.
Russell is a caring and genuine person and dog owner. As someone who grew up with dogs (two golden retrievers) and has now gone on to have his own (Ponyo) he is someone who truly appreciates the role a dog plays in your life. Russ is an active owner, taking Ponyo on lots of adventures and you can see the love and attachment that Ponyo feels as well. Anyone would be lucky to have someone like Russell help with their pet.
Russell is a very attentive and loving dog owner. He and his dog Ponyo have been on many adventures with me, and Ponyo is always Russell’s number one priority. Ponyo and Russ are attached at the hip, like long lost brothers reunited. Russell always makes sure Ponyo is eating healthy, exercising, and most importantly getting plenty of love, cuddling, and pets. Russ has been a dog lover/owner since he was a child, before Ponyo, his dogs “Patience” and “Lucky” we’re his best of friends.
