Pet care experience
Have worked with animals my entire life. As a retired veteran I can be devoted to your pet and provide an honest, loyal and safe environment for all persons and pets alike. I have done years of training with dogs and have done rescue work; including running my own rescue, training program in affiliation with several counties and Humane Society. I am able to handle dogs with behavior issues and could even provide training tips for the owner. I do own animals including my daughters 4H rabbits, Marbled Fox (which I do have license and permitting for), outdoor cats, (She outdoor cat by choice) as well as several dogs. Senior Great Dane and a Labrador. All are rescues and up to date on all vaccines. All pups in my care are kept separate and integrated based on behavior and individual personality for safety of pups and all persons involved.

Russell is a very capable, trustworthy, well developed dog sitter. I have four Pomeranians ranging from 13 years to three years old and he has gained their trust. And that is saying a lot considering two of my dogs are rescues and had been abused by men. If he can gain their trust he can gain any dogs Trust. I have known Russell or almost 11 years and in that time he has been nothing but compassionate and loving toward all of my animals.
I got a rescue Beagle from Russell in 2013 after having a stroke. I called him, explained my situation and he said he had 2 that he thought would fit. He was spot on, the minute I met Frodo I knew he was the one. Russell knew the dogs well and understood what kind human would be the best match. We have remained in contact ever since and he always checks up on Frodo.

It is important to know the animals true behavior and habits. Have had persons say their pet is friendly and just takes time to warm up and animal was aggressive for the entire week/booking. I can handle animal behaviors but it's important owner's are upfront and honest about their pets social skills.
A typical day
I will provide updates and send pictures along with a time log of everything. I can socialize animals by visiting the dog park, pet stores for treats or with a traditional walk around the neighborhood. Can and will provide individual care and schedule based on individual pet needs.
