Loving care when you’re not there!
Pet care experience
With over 10 years of hands-on experience as a loving and responsible pet owner, I bring a deeply personal understanding of the emotional and physical needs of animals. I treat every pet with the same love and care I gave to my own senior cats, who were part of my family until their final days. I’m especially attentive to detail and highly responsive to each pet’s unique personality, routines, and health needs. Whether it’s administering medication, caring for senior pets, or helping young puppies feel safe and settled, I provide a calm, nurturing, and trusted environment. I also have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be reliably available for last-minute needs or extended stays. Safety, comfort, and genuine affection are my priorities — and I always strive to communicate regularly with pet parents to ensure peace of mind while you’re away.

About Runa R.
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make it my priority to maintain their usual routines to help them feel safe and at ease. I take time to understand their feeding schedule, walking or play preferences, any medical needs, and favorite comfort items. I treat your home with the utmost respect and keep things clean and organized, just as you left them. If I’m caring for pets in my own home (or offering drop-in or daycare services), I provide a calm, secure, and pet-friendly environment. I make sure they have a cozy space to relax, plenty of mental and physical stimulation, and lots of affection and supervision throughout the day. Safety is always my top concern — I check fences, monitor during feeding times, and give them breaks when needed. No matter the location, I’m committed to giving each pet individualized attention, clear communication with pet parents, and a trusted, nurturing space they can feel comfortable in.
Information Runa R. would like to know about your pet
Before caring for any pet, I always like to learn as much as possible to ensure their safety, comfort, and happiness. It’s helpful to know: • Their daily routine (feeding times, walk schedule, potty breaks) • Any medical conditions, allergies, or medications • Behavioral traits (Are they shy? Energetic? Reactive to other dogs?) • How they do on walks or in new environments • Their favorite toys, treats, or calming techniques • Any fears or triggers (vacuum, fireworks, separation anxiety, etc.) • How they interact with other animals or strangers • House rules you’d like me to follow (couch access, crate use, etc.) The more I know ahead of time, the better I can provide consistent, loving care that keeps your pet feeling safe and happy in your absence.
A typical day
I love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy! Depending on each pet’s energy level and personality, I tailor activities to make sure they have a fun and fulfilling time while you’re away. For dogs, that might include long walks, fetch in the yard or park, puzzle toys for mental stimulation, or even practicing simple commands and tricks if they enjoy training. For indoor pets or seniors, I focus more on gentle play, cozy cuddle time, and relaxing companionship to keep them calm and comfortable. Cats enjoy interactive toys, window watching, laser pointer sessions, and brushing time if they like being groomed. I also pay attention to their favorite spots for lounging and make sure they feel safe and loved. My goal is always to keep pets both mentally and physically stimulated — and of course, to make them feel like they’re on their own little vacation while you’re away!

Availability
Pet care is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily life. Because I have a flexible schedule, I’m able to dedicate quality time to each pet — whether it’s morning walks, midday feedings, playtime, or quiet companionship in the evenings. I structure my day around their routines to ensure consistency and comfort, especially for pets who thrive on familiarity. Caring for animals isn’t just something I fit in — it’s something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I make sure each pet gets the attention, exercise, and affection they need, and I always leave time in my week to check in on their wellbeing, restock supplies, or simply give them a little extra love.
