Your Dog's Dream Vacation Awaits!
Pet care experience
I've had dogs in my house since I was three years-old and have cared for dogs in our home for the last ten years, including in multiple countries. I have experience with dogs with special diets, those that need lots of exercise, and even some stubborn pups that needed some extra work on boundaries. In our house, our doggie-guests get all of our attention, and our neighbors, friends, and work colleagues always turned to us first when they had to travel. We also speak Spanish, French, and some Portuguese in case your fur-kids are not native English speakers.

We do not currently have a dog in our home, so your dog will be the primary furry occupant during their time. We do not board more than one pup from different families at a time unless the dogs are already fur-buddies. We have a small yard, big enough for play, and access to trails right near the house for the long walks and exercise time.

Information Ruby M. would like to know about your pet
Prior to arriving, I like to know a few things. First, it's important to know the age and breed of the dog to help determine their energy level, exercise needs, and potential health concerns. Second, I like to know if your dog has any pre-existing medical conditions or allergies that require special care or medication. Third, knowing your dog's temperament can help me determine how we will plan for doggie social activities, especially if there are fear/aggression issues or behaviors that require extra attention or training. Fourth, I want to make sure that your fur-baby enjoys meal time, so knowing dietary restrictions and preferences, as well as any feeding schedule they are accustomed to will help out quite a bit. Fifth, while I like to go for long walks with the puppies, I understand that some dogs are more accustomed to that than others. Knowing your dog's exercise needs will help me plan activities and ensure they get enough physical activity. Lastly, I like to know about the dog's daily routine, such as sleeping habits and favorite activities. That way I can provide a comfortable and stress-free environment for them while they are boarding with the least amount of disruption to their schedule.
A typical day
Keeping a dog physically and mentally stimulated is very important to me, and I love it doing it. I have a great park and trail nearby, so your furry kid will have the opportunity to go for long walks and explore all of the different smells. For those with us over the weekend, I often drive out to the many area trails for some exercise and play. At home, I reinforce skills that you have taught your dog and other games to stimulate the mental needs of our guests.
