Pet care experience
I've volunteered at an animal shelter since I was 16 years old. I eventually started working part time and cared for the animals personally. I would walk dogs and keep them company in their kennels. I've worked with puppies, regular aged dogs, and older dogs. I am used to all types of dogs and different levels of energy. I am currently a full time student but I have days where I end early. I have some afternoons and evenings available, where I could go on long walks with pets. I would always make sure that the dogs are safe and away from danger. When crossing the street or walking along the road, I would make sure that there are no cars nearby and the dogs are on a tight leash. I would also make sure that they don't get too far away from me.

Ruby is a caring and animal lover kind of person. She is always looking out for the well being of our baby Caramelo. She truly spoils him every time she is with him. And what's most important, he loves her and the treatment she gives him. She cuddles, carries and spends time with him often. Even when she is not actually taking care of him, she'll stop by for a visit and our baby loves her so much for it. We are never worried about his well being when she's with him. Highly recommend her

I would like to know what kind of toys or activities the dog prefers. I would focus more on these things. If I am walking the dog, I would like to know if they tend to pull on the leash or if they are a bit stubborn. Allergies are also important to know, just in case
A typical day
I attend Wellesley College and would love to walk the dogs around Lake Waban or around campus where there are many open spaces and very little cars. If I house sit and there is a backyard, I would try and let the dog use all its energy so that they are sleepy and happy when their owner returns.
