Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Ruby, and I love dogs! I have worked in animal welfare for 4 years and have experience with many species, and many breeds, sizes and ages of dogs. I have flexible hours, and open availability after 4 every day. I am available all day on Mondays and Tuesdays. I have been a dog owner for 17 years and a cat owner for 10. I have had experience as both a dog walker and sitter, as a kennel attendant at a doggy daycare, and a shelter worker. Currently, I work as a training kennel assistant at Guide Dogs for the Blind. I have training experience and know how to deal with puppies, dogs who pull or are inexperienced with walking on a leash, and dogs with other minor behavioral issues (although I would appreciate it if you let me know about any problems before hand, especially if your dog is prone to aggression!) I am very exited to meet you and your pet!

Excellent experience
Ruby is incredibly kind and her passion and love for dogs is palpable! Our dog Olive can can be slow to warm up but she took to Ruby right away! Ruby's taken Olive on multiple fantastic walks (even being so kind as to come on weekend evenings!) and we are so excited that Olive will get to stay with Ruby during an upcoming trip!

Please let me know if your pet is shy or anxious around strangers. If the dog is going to hide from me or be hard to get the leash on that is important for me to know! Also, please let me know if your dog is reactive to other dogs or people.
A typical day
I run, so if your dog is high energy i’d love to go running with him or her! I also love nature so we will definitely be visiting a park if there is one near by! If i’m just stopping by for a check in i’ll shower your pet with love and play a game of fetch or two :)

I work from 7 until 4 Wednesday to Sunday and am entirely available Mondays and Tuesdays. I can do afternoons any day of the week.
