Pet care experience
I’ve been a lifelong cat owner, until age 25 or so when I got pet dogs. I live abroad for part of the year with my partner and our 2 dogs, but I spend the rest of the year at home in south Somerset with our 6 cats. Through Rover, I’ve looked after many dogs, guinea pigs, ducks, and tortoises so far. I’d love to take care of any pet you own and give it as much love as you do. Whether your pet bounces off the walls or loves an evening snuggle, I will love spending time with them. As always we knew JP was in the safest of hands with Ruby! We feel very lucky to have found Ruby and JP almost certainly prefers her to us!!!
Ruby was amazing with Jet kept us updated with messages and photos,we was delayed on the last day rugby' was willing to stay longer so Jet wouldn't be left on her own for very long until we got home, also left a report card for us that was very reassuring we will definitely book Ruby again.
Ruby was absolutely amazing with Peggy! She was warm, kind and accommodating and it was clear how calm and happy Peg had been in her company. Would 100% recommend to others and we will certainly book her again if we're back in the area!
As always, Ruby has been a dream and it gives us so much peace of mind knowing that JP is in her safe hands. Judging by how he keeps disappearing to curl up on her bed, I’m not sure he’s very impressed we’ve come home!!! Thanks so much Ruby!

Please let me know if your dog/pet requires any medication and how you find is best to administer it. I do not have experience with injections, but I am willing to give oral and topical medications if and when needed. Let me know about their personality and if they're reactive with other dogs, children, people (or anything else). If you'd prefer me to walk them on or off-lead, I'm happy to oblige with either. And let me know any quirks about your pet.
A typical day
Wake up early and head straight out for a walk. Please recommend me your favourite walking routes where you live. I'll stick to your timings for feeding your pet, but working from home means they can have potty breaks all through the day. We'll take a second walk mid-afternoon before having a snuggle together watching TV.

I work from home so I have a flexible schedule to look after your beloved pets. I love early-morning walks and mid-afternoon walks with your pups. I try to accommodate your pets’ existing schedules as best as I can. I love to take photos of your animals, so you’ll always be updated with photos.
