Hello, I have a profound love for animals. My passion is within the animal field and I am still working on where I would like to find myself. I have cared for over 400+ pets over the 9 years in the Hudson county area. I have worked at the local animal shelter in jersey city learning how to care for different types of temperament from each shelter pet. I’ve gained experienced in a boarding/training facility setting working with dogs big & small. I am currently working at a vet office as a receptionist and training to be an vet assistant. My days off are scattered around. I work to accommodate your needs and have references who are happy to share their experience using my pet services. Feel free to message me about anything you may need. Dogs need lots of work mentally and physically in order to be their happy relax self. It also takes time and patience for pets who are fearful to adjust to change. I am happy to work with your pet and will try my best to accommodate your needs. My schedule is as follows: Monday - Saturday: AM- I am available a head of time to walk/pet sit. Before 7AM as I have a full time job during the day. Lunch: I am available to coordinate a lunch visit based on my availability. I do work 19 miles away from jersey city. PM: I am available after 6pm to help assist with any dinner/ last minute visit you may need. Sundays: I am usually open and available until further notice. Ruby takes exceptional care of pets every time she visits them! Not only does she take time to feed them and ensure they have everything needed, but also takes additional time to play with them, brush them, and comfort them during each visit!! And she sends a quick photo of them too ! We are so fortunate to have such a loving and responsible pet sitter work with us!
For the last eight years, I along with my two pups have had the pleasure of knowing Ruby. Her detail to attention, level of responsibility, love and respect for my two dogs is unmatched. If I ever needed help with walks, feeding, medication or even rehabilitation, Ruby has always been eager to help. Ruby has always been tentative to any changes in my dogs (poster, attitude). She has great communication skills and explains things clearly. I am pretty sure my dogs love her more than they love me but that’s OK hahaha.
Ruby is one of the most carrying humans I know , her love for animals, specially for dogs is beyond measurements. I have the pleasure of knowing Ruby for a few years now and her care is consistent and ever so growing. She is super fun as a pet sitter and super reliable,

I care for the pets at their home. I find it’s more suitable for pets to stay where they already find familiar. It’s already stressful for them to know their owners are away, that a new person will be caring for them and there is a change in their routine. I keep in mind they need their meals, exercise and social interaction. Depending if it’s just walks or an overnight care which can be extended for months or so, pets need a schedule where they can keep their mental stimulated by treats, or toys and exercise. It helps the pets stay proactive and having a restful night.

Before meeting it is important how a pet responds towards me. Some dogs can be fearful and others territorial. Their behavior helps me read how they feel. Dogs are smart creatures and do communicate when they have to. That’s why it’s best to do a meet and greet to help work with your pet. I would like to know if your pet has any allergies as treats are a great snack during their visit.
A typical day
Under my care, I would like to ensure that a dog feels comfortable and open to enjoy activities outdoor. A dog park is great or a long walk strolling the city.

My daily or weekly routine allows me to be flexible as Morning visits can start as early as 4am and end at 9pm. It helps me fit needs that pets may require.
