I don't like leaving a poor review about Rozina but unfortunately I was not happy with her care of my little dog. Although Rozina had the dates of my return from holiday, I arrived home at 2pm on the planned date,I was unable to collect my dog because no one was at home.When I tried to arrange a time she said she would be working until 11pm but her husband would be taking a break from his work and I could call then. I then said maybe better I collect on Monday. However alarm bells then sounded as I was very concerned her husband would not be taking a break and Nero would be on his own for 11 hours. I then text I would collect Nero when her husband was at home, she mentioned 3pm or 4pm.Rozina then confirmed her husband would not be able to take a break and was absolutely furious when I suggested she might come back from work to allow me collect Nero, she then text she'd have no further communication with me.It transpired Nero was left on his own for 11 hours on Sunday. Nero may well have been left on his own for equally long periods for the 17 days I was away. Although she denied this I believe Rozina may not be trustworthy. She'd previously explained before I left ,that her husband was often at home when she worked but subsequently denied she had said this. I feel if she works such long hours she should not register with Rover. If she was looking after a cat this would not be such a problem but dogs, especially my dog love human company, I am very upset by the whole experience. Also I take Nero to be groomed every 8-10 weeks and he is regularly bathed, without informing me Nero came back with a DIY haircut, all his curls have disappeared! I have no doubt Rozina really liked Nero and when she was at home did her very best to care for him but I am upset that he may well have been left on his own for long periods during the 17 days I was away. In all fairness I was grateful initially to have found Rozina, as the lady who I'd originally booked with in November had to to cancel at the last minute due to an accident and I was frantically trying to find someone within days of my holiday who was available for the two and a half weeks. It is essential dog minders are transparent regarding their work schedule and the hours they are available to look after your dog.Unfortunately I cannot recommend Rozina.
