I had an Irish Setter back in Poland where I am originally from. I have cared for Charon by brushing his fur and of course walking him and feeding him. I was picking after him. In Seattle WA I was house sitting for a friend for a year with a "Todo" type dog. I was walking Todo before and after work, including taking him to a park and running with him. A client should choose me to take care of their dog because I am dependable, and patient. I care for animals and never would hurt any animals. It breaks my heart when I see an ad on TV or on Facebook about abused and abandoned animals. If I could, I would adopt them all. I have a kitty cat, Gigi, whom I adopted at 6 years old from a Humane Society in Seattle in 2012. She was traumatized and would not come out for three days when in my home. I put food and water out for her. She came out and eventually jumped into my lap. Today she is inseparable, and is doing much better. She still shies away from visitors, but warms up after a while and comes out from hiding. She is my heart and soul. I believe that this is a transferrable skill: caring for any animal shows the true nature of a human being. I am a true human being. I would love to take care of your fido while you are gone. You can travel assured that your dog is in good hands. I will send you texts with daily updates on how your Fido is doing, what he/she did on a walk, etc. I am excited about the opportunity to care for your dog!
