Pet care experience
We have had our two boys (Jack, an Aussie, and Donnie, a lab mix) for almost 10 years now. In fact - that’s how Simone and I met, walking our dogs. For many years we have helped out friends with their pups when they go out of town. We love dogs and will go out of our way to make yours feel loved and safe while they are with us. *** Before staying with us, we do require a brief meet and greet. While our pups are a couple of softies, we do know new and strange dogs can increase anxiety for many dogs. This process is to ensure a successful and wonderful stay for your pup.

Roy is an exceptional human being who loves all dogs from various walks of life. Roy is incredibly calm, considerate and kind. We are next door neighbors and our dog absolutely loves him, and he tackles him constantly. Roy’s wife Simone also has an insatiable love for dogs and couldn’t be any sweeter and also very responsible. They have two dogs, Jack and Donnie, who are so silly and gentle. I would highly recommend these two to watch your family member as they have watched over our dog and given him a 5-star experience every time—even let him cuddle and sleep in their bed with them —just like he was one of their own. I feel so fortunate to have them live nextdoor!
Roy and Simone has watched our Dog Son for us multiple times, and every time it has been a thorough reminder for how blessed we are to have such friends and neighbors. They show a remarkable amount of care, patience, and attention with our pets and very clearly love animals. I am very comfortable trusting them with our fur babies; they are very responsive, responsible, and have experience raising and spending time with animals of different personalities. Their home is pet safe and they are active and appropriately careful and attentive to animals and their needs. You would have a hard time finding a nicer couple to watch over your four legged family member.

A typical day
We love to go on long walks around our quiet neighborhood, exploring new areas, and saying hello to our dog friends. On the weekends, we enjoy going on local hiking trails or to the beach! Relaxing at home and snuggling on the couch after a long day is always a favorite.

Availability
Simone works remotely from home taking care of our boys during the week. Roy is a graduate student always home on the weekends, and sometimes home on weekdays. Between the two of us, we will ensure your pup has a wonderful, fun, and safe time.
