My name is Roxy and I have two dogs, Bailey and Luigi. I have been volunteering at the Animal Protection Society of Durham as a dog walker/caretaker, and will soon receive training for evaluating dogs' behaviors and ways to ameliorate any behavioral challenges dogs may have. I have experience with dog-sitting, baby sitting, and house sitting. I am a recent Masters of Social Work graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Before that I was a preschool teacher, and a nanny for about three years, then started dog sitting and house sitting for friends and family. My long term goal with working with dogs is to one day open a dog rescue and possibly some sort of non-profit to train dogs to become service dogs for people suffering from various disabilities and mental health issues, tying in my love for animals, and mental health. A little about me: In my down time I like to listen to music, read, exercise, go to the beach, and of course play with my two fur babies. If you need the occasional dog sitter who will play and love on your fur baby, look no further! I am available on Tuesdays from 10 am to 2 pm for pet walking and weekends for pet sitting.
