Pet care experience
We are a couple in our thirties who love dogs but haven’t quite made taken the leap to have one of our own full time. We do, however, love looking after our friends dogs throughout the year and both grew up with dogs. I had Jack Russells and a Tenterfield Terrier and my partner had a German Shepherd/border Collie cross. I am a remote worker so home every day and live a 5 minute walk from a big park and 10 mins from Hove seafront

Our dog Poppy spent a wonderful week with Roxy and Tom. We received regular updates with pics of Poppy’s adventures- daily walks, cuddles, meeting other dogs and generally being well-cared for and loved. Just as we do! Roxy was very attentive to Poppy’s needs and we felt completely comfortable and happy leaving her. Roxy and Tom certainly left a positive impression on Poppy as even now when we say ‘Where’s Roxy and Tom?’ her ears pluck up and we know she’s smiling ☺️. Will definitely use Roxy and Tom again for boarding when this is needed and it works for them too. Thank you both 😁
Roxy has looked after my border collie Bonnie on several occasions and I highly recommend her. Bonnie is a nervous dog but Roxy is a natural and whenever I pick her up she’s so calm and happy. Thank you again for everything Roxy! X
Roxy is every fury friends best pal! My Cavapoo Rupert Bear has stayed with Roxy on several occasions… including a last minute getaway when I was having my first baby. Roxy was on hand to have Rupert and he absolutely loved his last minute trip!Rupert is loved beyond belief, gets lots of walks, 1000’s of ball throws and a lot of belly rubs. He always comes back a very happy boy! Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pooch.
Roxy and Tom are absolutely lovely and extremely reliable. Their home is a haven for your four legged friend, where they will be spoilt with love, attention and scenic walks on the beach. Thoroughly recommend them.

We currently live in a flat with no garden so will suit a smaller dog. Can take out for frequent breaks. Lovely building, only three flats.

My preference is for breeds that are used to living in smaller spaces/ without a garden. Whilst we can take them out multiple times throughout the day, we want the dog to feel as comfortable as possible and it wouldn’t be suitable for dogs used to being able to go out whenever they like through a dog flap/open kitchen door

Lovely big park 4 minute walk away with lots of different areas to explore, as well as the seafront that is 10 mins walk away

Availability
I live with my partner, Tom, who will be supporting me with the care of the dogs. I work from home every day 9-5 so am able to go for early morning walks/ lunchtime walks and after work strolls. Living near the lovely St Anns Well and the seafront makes it a great dog friendly neighbourhood. We don’t have any pets of our own so I can provide the dog staying with us all my attention.
