Pet care experience
I am always fearful leaving my dogs with strangers. So I am looking to be a trusted partner to your pets. Feel comfortable when on vacation while your pets are safe, fenced, supervised and loved. I am home full time, I walk the dogs, play with them and I am pretty good at reading their minds so I know exactly what they want. I follow all feeding instructions and never give inappropriate toys, rawhide, dangerous foods or any other harmful substance to your pets or my own. I am easy going and treat pets like people. Your pet would be free to be in or out as desired each and every day. I have had dogs my entire life. They are treated as extended children and not pets. The more you interact with your pet, the more they become personable. I am a believer in supervision. Always know where they are and what they are doing. If interested, a scheduled meet and greet before hand is a wonderful way to get to know each other.

She talks to them, loves on them in addition to taking care of their normal daily needs. If you believe in reincarnation, you'd want to be a dog and be owned by Roxie, I know I would!

Information Roxie S. would like to know about your pet
I have a Lhasa Apso and shitzu of my own. So smaller breeds are great. Bigger dogs are welcome as long as they are non aggressive and submissive in nature. If your dog is an alpha with some dominance issues, I would need to know and schedule accordingly. All dogs must be vaccinated according to law. Does your dog suffer from food aggression, or anxiety? We can work with that. Dogs are fed separately when need be and of course are always supervised. I primarily take one family at a time so these issues are not usually a problem. Anxiety is best dealt with using distraction. Distracting a pet with toys, affection, walks and fun usually can provide the most comfort.
A typical day
We like to interact based on the dogs desire. Some like to be pet and loved as they nap on the couch or lap, some enjoy fetching a ball or playing tag. We read your pet's body language and act appropriate. If they are runners, rest assure they will be safe behind the fence as well as being supervised at all times.
