I never imagined I’d start a pet sitting account because I’ve only ever done it for family and friends; however, I’ve always had pets in my home and since moving to Texas It’s something I’ve lacked. I love getting my steps in and in the process would love to love your pet like it was my own. Little cuddles and kisses to tie me over until I get home to Wisconsin to see my adventure cat, Bob. I left Bob with my parents because he loves the outdoors and going for walks. He’s got 60 acres of land to roam and play there and being an apartment cat would crush his little soul. Luckily for the both of us, in 2022 he’ll became a full time RV kitty exploring the USA with my retired parents. He loves his window where he watches everything. He comes to visit around Christmas each year. I have a flexible salaried job in Las Colinas. Typically I work 8-5 with an hour lunch but can shift based on work needed. My evening and weekends are typically open. I have experience in giving insulin on a daily basis, administering meds and subcutaneous fluid IVs (smaller dogs that won’t fight it)

I cannot care for pets at my apartment, but as my reviews state, it’s really important to me to have a clean environment. It’s likely that I will do laundry, dishes, and maybe even clean the floors before you get home. All depends on length, but as much as I love dogs, dog hair all over the floor gets me anxious so I sweep/vacuum every couple days.

Things I like to know: Are their bathroom habits consistent? Any meds? What are their fears? Traffic, dogs, fireworks, etc Any bad habits we’re working on that need to be consistent while you’re gone? Are they allowed on furniture/where do they sleep?
A typical day
Routine really depends on the dog. I honestly started Rover thinking I’d pack up someone’s dog and go hiking. Well, I was wrong. Most dogs on Rover tend to be senior, sleepy, and stuck in their ways. There’s also way more dogs that do not like other dogs than I’d have imagined. So hiking in close quarters isn’t ideal. I’ll play as long as they want to, and until they’re a regular with me, I pretty much stick to their normal routine and neighborhood they’re familiar with.

My schedule is fluid. I have an office job 8-5pm, it’s important I have wifi though because I tend to take my work home. I may be running errands or going to the gym after work or during the weekends.
